include:\nPayroll Coordination & Oversight\nCoordinate end-to-end payroll processing across Australia and New Zealand in partnership with the external payroll provider\nEnsure payroll inputs (new starters, changes, terminations, allowances, leave) are accurate, complete, and submitted on time (Employment Hero)\nReview payroll outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before finalisation\nOwn payroll calendar management and ensure key deadlines are met\nMaintain accurate payroll records and documentation\nKey Deliverables\nPayroll processed accurately and on schedule each pay cycle\nCompliance with legislative and audit requirements\nPayroll documentation maintained accurately\nPayroll Systems & Employee Lifecycle Management\nManage payroll and HR system onboarding and offboarding processes, including:\nContract generation and employment documentation\nPayroll system setup and variation maintenance\nEnsure employee data is accurately maintained across payroll and HR systems\nEnsure documentation supports payroll and HR processes\nMaintain system workflows and approvals that support payroll processing\nSupport system improvements that enable consistency and scalability\nKey Deliverables\nEmployee data maintained confidentially and with high level of accuracy\nPayroll impacting changes entered prior to payroll deadlines\nHR and payroll system records align\nWorkflow processes comply with internal policy and employment legislation\nExternal Payroll Provider Management\nAct as the primary point of contact with the outsourced payroll provider\nCoordinate payroll submissions, clarifications, corrections, and reconciliations\nEscalate and resolve payroll issues in a timely and professional manner\nMonitor service delivery and escalate issues when necessary\nSupport ongoing improvement of payroll processes\nKey Deliverables\nTimely payroll submissions\nPayroll issues resolved within agreed service timeframes\nEffective working relationship with external payroll provider (Employment Hero)\nPayroll Queries & Issue Resolution\nManage and respond to payroll-related queries from employees and managers across both jurisdictions\nInvestigate discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently and confidentially\nProvide guidance and clear explanations of payroll outcomes, deductions, and entitlements\nIdentify recurring issues and contribute to process or system improvements\nKey Deliverables\nPayroll queries responded to within agreed service standards\nPayroll issues resolved efficiently and accurately\nHigh level of employee satisfaction with payroll support\nEnterprise Systems Support\nProvide operational support to the Head of IT in relation to enterprise system user management activities\nAssist with user setup, access changes, and deactivation requests in line with onboarding and offboarding processes\nSupport the management and resolution of user access and permissions queries, ensuring requests are actioned accurately and in accordance with internal controls and approval requirements\nUpdate and maintain system workflows throughout employee lifecycle changes\nKey Deliverables\nIT set up completed prior to employee start date\nTimely resolution of system support requests\nAccurate and up to date system records\nProcess improvements identified where possible\nTo apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:\nExperience coordinating payroll processes, ideally in a multi-entity or trans-Tasman environment\nWorking knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand payroll requirements, or ability to learn quickly\nExperience supporting employee lifecycle processes (onboarding and offboarding)\nStrong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage multiple deadlines\nEffective communicator with a practical, solutions-focused mindset\nCollaborative, discreet, and adaptable, with an interest in improving scalable processes\nService orientated approach to supporting employees\nStrong proficiency with enterprise systems and Microsoft Office tools\nIt will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable
