This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, take full ownership of design decisions, and create high-quality, user-centered designs from concept to execution. You will play a critical role in shaping cohesive user experiences across web and mobile platforms while establishing scalable design systems, including the design language for how users and AI agents collaborate inside Berny products.\nIn Berny's team model the UX Designer is embedded full-time in one team and reports to the Head of Product. Design Leadership & Ownership\nOwn the end-to-end design process across multiple products and platforms\nDefine and enforce design standards, patterns, and best practices\nEnsure consistency in user experience, visual design, and interaction patterns\n2. Cross-Product Design Consistency\nBuild and maintain a unified design language across all Berny products\nDevelop and manage a scalable design system (components, typography, color, UI patterns, agent-interaction patterns)\nConduct design audits to ensure alignment and consistency\n3. Independent Design Execution\nTranslate product requirements into intuitive, elegant design solutions\nCreate wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs independently\nHandle multiple design initiatives simultaneously with minimal supervision\nUse AI design tooling (image, layout, content) as part of your everyday workflow, and have a point of view on what it changes about the design role\n4. UX Strategy & User-Centered Design\nAdvocate for user experience best practices and usability principles\nConduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis\nIterate designs based on data, insights, and user behavior\nDesign how humans and agents interact - trust, disclosure, undo, control, escalation. This is core to every Berny product.\n5. Collaboration with Engineering & Product\nWork closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy\nProvide design specifications and support during development\nEnsure pixel-perfect implementation and design quality in production\n6.
