This role will work closely with the product owners, product leadership, scrum master, and engineering teams to ensure development initiatives are properly scoped, documented, validated, and approved before implementation begins.\nYou will play a key role in maintaining a well-refined, development-ready backlog while collaborating with the scrum master to support efficient Agile delivery and ensure alignment with business objectives and product priorities.\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborate with client product leadership, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and functional requirements.\n\nTranslate high-level business ideas and requirements into well-defined epics, user stories, and clear, testable acceptance criteria.\n\nLead requirements gathering and refinement discussions to clarify business needs, identify dependencies, and resolve ambiguities before development begins.\n\nEnsure requirements are complete, consistent, validated, and approved by relevant stakeholders before implementation.\n\nMaintain a continuous pipeline of development-ready user stories, ensuring engineering teams have clearly defined work available for upcoming sprints.\n\nPartner with product owners to refine and structure the product backlog based on business priorities and delivery objectives.\n\nCollaborate with the scrum master to support backlog readiness, sprint preparation, and effective communication between product stakeholders and engineering teams.\n\nWork closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure requirements include sufficient functional details, acceptance criteria, and expected behaviors.\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, providing requirements clarification and functional guidance.\n\nIdentify and resolve requirements-related blockers, risks, and dependencies in coordination with the scrum master and engineering teams.\n\nFacilitate workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders to clarify product functionality and expected outcomes.\n\nServe as the primary liaison between client product stakeholders and internal engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and shared understanding of requirements.\n\nMaintain clear and organized requirements documentation to support development, testing, and future enhancements.\n\nSupport engineering teams during implementation by clarifying requirements, validating proposed solutions, and ensuring alignment with approved specifications.\n\nCollaborate with QA teams to review test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered functionality meets business expectations.\n\nEvaluate requirement changes and communicate their potential impact on scope, priorities, and delivery timelines to relevant stakeholders.\n\n5+ years of professional experience as a business analyst, including experience supporting software development projects and Agile delivery teams.\n\nStrong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.\n\nProven ability to translate high-level business objectives into detailed epics, user stories, and clear, testable acceptance criteria.\n\nExperience working directly with product owners, scrum masters, product leadership, and engineering teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\n\nStrong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.\n\nExperience maintaining a well-defined product backlog and ensuring requirements are ready before development begins.\n\nAbility to identify and resolve requirement gaps, dependencies, conflicting expectations, and scope ambiguities.\n\nExperience facilitating requirements workshops, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional collaboration sessions.\n\nFamiliarity with requirements and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.\n\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with client stakeholders and technical teams.\n\nStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a client-facing environment.\n\nPreferred\nExperience working in the healthcare, HealthTech, or digital health industry.\n\nFamiliarity with healthcare workflows, clinical applications, or patient-facing digital platforms.\n\nUnderstanding of healthcare data interoperability concepts, including FHIR, HL7, or platforms such as Medplum.\n\nKnowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.\n\nExperience working with distributed engineering teams and international clients.\n\nFamiliarity with web and mobile application development processes, API integrations, and modern software architectures.\n\nExperience creating process flows, user journeys, wireframes, or functional diagrams to support requirements
