Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure. This position will work closely with the IT System Administrator Supervisor and offer suggestions and ideas for future network capacity planning to ensure the K&M Tire network runs consistently and efficiently.\n\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\nDesigning and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.\nInstalling, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.\nProcuring network equipment and managing installers involved with network installation.\nConfiguring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.\nArranging scheduled upgrades and updating network equipment to latest firmware releases.\nInvestigating faults in the network while troubleshooting issues and outages.\nMonitor network status and report to key stakeholders.\nReporting network status to key stakeholders.\nManage backups with other Admin team members.\nSupport company goals and uphold K&M Values\nPerform other duties as appropriate and assigned.\nLead the design and implementation of new network solutions and improvements. II\nResponsible for keeping self and organization informed on relevant emerging technologies that support Mission Vision Values. II\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive network documentation. II\nConduct advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for network issues. II\nAutomate routine network tasks through scripting. II\nEvaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance network performance and security. III\nAct as the primary point of contact for network-related escalations and complex troubleshooting. III\nMentor and provide technical leadership to IT department for all networking functions. III\nProvide expert guidance on network architecture and strategic planning.
