This role supports KE's Automation Division by coordinating projects from kickoff through completion and ensuring critical project information, schedules, documentation, and resources stay organized and on track. You'll be responsible for project coordination, administrative support, procurement assistance, document management, and communication activities that directly impact project execution, team efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Success in this role means helping projects run smoothly, supporting Project Managers in meeting deadlines and budget goals, and ensuring project deliverables are completed accurately and efficiently, all while upholding KE's commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance. What You'll Do

You'll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and project teams to understand project scope, requirements, and objectives.
  • Attend project meetings and document key action items, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Review project contracts and assist with project startup activities.
  • Create and maintain projects in Procore, Viewpoint, and other project management systems.
  • Track permits, purchase orders, material orders, project schedules, and key project milestones.
  • Draft and process project documentation, including change requests, reports, trackers, and status updates.
  • Maintain organized project files, drawings, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and project performance reporting.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Support procurement efforts by sourcing vendors and tracking project materials and equipment.
  • Assist with preconstruction planning and project coordination activities.
  • Provide technical support through drawing review, material coordination, and project documentation management.
  • Monitor project deliverables and help ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support continuous improvement of project processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and project management software to support daily operations.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel to project sites as needed, including occasional out-of-town assignments.
  • Occasionally work evenings, weekends, or holidays based on project needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

You're someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:

  • 2+ years of project coordination, construction, automation, or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting project schedules, documentation, procurement, and vendor communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore and Viewpoint experience preferred
  • A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electrical, automation, or solar construction is a plus
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

This position requires onsite work in Eagan, MN, five days per week.

Pay Range

We believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.

Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
