Knorex operates across the US and APAC.\nJob Description\nWe are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Real-Time Bidding (RTB) team and help develop and maintain our high-performance bidding engine.\nOur RTB system processes bid requests from advertising exchanges in real time, making bidding decisions under strict latency requirements. You will work with experienced engineers to build reliable, scalable, and efficient backend systems while learning about programmatic advertising and real-time distributed systems.\nThis role is suitable for fresh graduates or engineers with up to one year of experience who have a strong foundation in programming, enjoy solving technical problems, and are eager to grow as backend engineers.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, test, and maintain backend services and components of the RTB bidding engine.\nImplement new features and improve existing functionality under senior engineers' guidance.\nWrite clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code.\nInvestigate bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, and help improve system reliability.\nContribute to performance optimization to improve the bidding engine's latency, throughput, and resource efficiency.\nIntegrate with external advertising platforms and internal services through APIs and messaging systems.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.\nCollaborate with team members to deliver features and improvements on time.\nLearn and apply new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve software quality and development productivity.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree or final-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nProficiency in at least one programming language, with Go preferred.\nGood understanding of data structures, algorithms, and fundamental programming concepts.\nBasic understanding of programming concepts, software design principles, computer networks, HTTP, and client-server communication.\nFamiliarity with Git and basic software development workflows.\nAbility to write readable code, test implementations, and debug problems systematically.\nGood problem-solving and analytical skills, willingness to learn and accept feedback, and ability to collaborate effectively.\nAbility to read and understand technical documentation in English.\nNice to have\nExperience developing backend services or REST APIs.\nFamiliarity with Go, Linux, SQL.\nBasic understanding of concurrency, multithreading, or distributed systems.\nExposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, or cloud platforms.\nExperience with personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions.\nInterest in high-performance computing, real-time processing, or advertising technology.\nBenefits\nCompetitive remuneration package including quarterly bonus and performance review opportunities.\nFull participation in mandatory insurance programs in accordance with Vietnamese Labor Law.\nHealthcare insurance package and annual health check-up.\nComprehensive benefits scheme such as W3F (Work, Wellbeing, Welfare) Fund for courses, materials, personal health and wellbeing.\nWork from home benefits.\nYou will have the advance to influence and drive the changes, at Knorex we welcome good ideas and accept any possibility to make our company great.\nWe offer great learning opportunities;
