Will train and facilitate activities in manufacturing, non-manufacturing and administrative work areas. Also, will help to sustain, improve OEE System. Major responsibilities include:\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nExecute and apply KPS strategy, tools and techniques in the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives. \nPlan, execute and manage projects to complete through product continuous improvement.\nLead value stream mapping exercises to determine and record business improvement areas.\nManage a portfolio of lean projects directed at reducing waste and improving quality to provide greater valve; implements such tools as: 5S, KPI, SMED, VSM, and Kaizen. \nWill be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects, as well as mentoring and coaching Project leads as part of Cost Deployment strategy. \nPrepare the layouts, detailed drawings, and other documentation to assist in improving the manufacturing processes\nDevelop standard work standards and line balancing for productivity, and documenting routing times. \nIdentify and track manufacturing cost reductions by implementing Quick Kaizen, Standard, Major and Advanced Kaizens or other Lean initiatives. \nExecute Projects as needed.\nBe a “leader of change”. This person must be comfortable working with all levels within the organization. Some additional hours may be required.\nTravel requirements: Domestic and/or Global, up to 25%\nThe anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Bowling Green, KY is $75,900-$113,900 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. Bendix is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year. Employees will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies.
