The Industrial Engineering Intern will assist with process analysis, data collection, continuous improvement projects, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.\nReporting Line\nHead of Industrialization\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport manufacturing process improvement initiatives\nCollect, analyze, and report production and operational data\nAssist with time studies and workflow analysis\nParticipate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities\nSupport development and maintenance of work instructions and process documentation\nAssist in identifying opportunities to improve Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance\nSupport capacity planning and production line optimization efforts\nParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities\nAssist with layout planning and material flow improvements\nSupport implementation of standard work and visual management practices\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams\nAssist with tracking project progress and documenting results\nSupport health, safety, and environmental initiatives\nPerform other engineering-related duties as assigned\nRequirements\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline\nMinimum GPA of 3.0 preferred\nBasic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering principles\nExperience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools preferred\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility and willingness to work onsite in a manufacturing environment\nOther Skills & Competencies\nAnalytical thinking\nAttention to detail\nCollaboration and teamwork\nStrong communication skills\nInitiative and willingness to learn\nOrganization and time management\nContinuous improvement mindset\nProblem-solving skills\nAdaptability\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications\nBecome part of our team!\nJoin us in shaping the mobility of the future!\nWe - that's around 32,000 employees worldwide.
