This role supports production by identifying nonconforming materials, conducting inspections and measurements, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate quality records. The Quality Technician plays a key role in preventing defects from entering the manufacturing process while promoting continuous improvement and compliance with quality management systems. Located at BDC (Bendix Distribution Center).\nESSENTIAL DUTIES:\nPerform receiving inspections as required by SAP & sampling plans.\nWork closely with all quality engineers to resolve issues and provide support on special projects, as needed.\nCreate Q2 notifications as required for non-conforming material.\nProcess and expedite Q2s and interface with planners to report and resolve material quality issues.\nStock checks to support customer claims as needed. \nProvide quality support to all areas of the plant on an as needed basis.\nPerform first piece inspections to support production requirements for all manufacturing areas, when needed.\nEssential Job Requirements:\nMust be able to maintain good attendance including working overtime as required\nMust be able to safely and effectively operate in an industrial environment\nMust be able to read, write and comprehend work instructions, communications, policies, job safety analysis, etc.\nMust be able to perform basic mathematical calculations \nMust be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing\nMust be able to reason, analyze and trouble shoot issues on the job\nMust be able to work as a team member, including but not limited to resolving issues as part of a team, and get along with co-workers\nMust be able to consistently meet production, safety and quality standards\nMust be able to safely and effectively perform all functions of the job \nMust be willing to participate in daily pre-work stretching program\nMust be willing to assume other duties as assigned \nMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment as described in the standardized work instructions\nMust be able to comply with customer requirements (ex.
