This role is accountable for daily oversight of planning activities, supplier alignment, escalation management, and continuous improvement initiatives across planning and integration functions. In addition, the Supervisor will support strategic planning processes, manage governance requirements, and ensure seamless collaboration across operations, planning, purchasing, and supplier management.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nLead and oversee the daily activities of Central Planners and Supplier Integrators, establishing clear performance goals, KPIs, expectations, and ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.\nCoach, develop, and support team members through regular feedback, training, performance evaluations, and succession planning activities.\nCoordinate and lead cross-functional task forces to manage high-risk issues such as PAVE escalations, supplier constraints, and other critical operational challenges.\nAlign planning and supplier integration processes with SIOP targets, long-term business strategies, and organizational standards.\nEnsure compliance with QMPP, the Supplier Logistics Directive, and contractual Terms & Conditions while administering governance for supplier onboarding, capacity management, and lifecycle oversight.\nSupport internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation, addressing findings, and driving corrective actions.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance, strengthen supplier performance, reduce supply chain risk, and improve process efficiency.\nImplement and maintain best practices for planning accuracy, supplier performance, and operational stability.\nChampion the use of SAP, BW, dashboards, and analytical tools to increase data visibility, planning accuracy, and decision-making effectiveness.\nServe as the primary liaison between supply chain leadership, plant operations, purchasing, logistics, and quality teams, representing planning and supplier integration functions in leadership reviews and strategic meetings.\nKnowledge:\nAdvanced understanding of supply chain management, planning processes, and material flow. \nStrong leadership capabilities with experience in building, guiding, and developing teams. \nExpertise in MRP/ERP systems, with SAP strongly preferred. \nKnowledge of supplier risk management, escalation processes, and compliance frameworks. \nStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience:\n7+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, supplier integration, or related roles. \nProven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex operational or supply chain projects with measurable outcome\nSkills:\n\nAbility to establish trust, credibility, and effective working relationships across internal and external departments.\nAbility to manage projects and assignments independently while ensuring timely and accurate completion.\nStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.\nAbility to influence and persuade stakeholders at multiple levels to drive actions and achieve outcomes.\nSelf-motivated and action-oriented, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a matrixed organizational structure.\nAdvanced planning, organizational, and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.\nResults-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.\nStrong systems aptitude with the ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data effectively.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nAbility to extract, interpret, and analyze data from system queries to support reporting and decision-making.\nEducation:\n\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered.\nPosition Requirements:\n\nThe demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year. Employees will also enjoy 12 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday throughout the calendar year, subject to relevant terms outlined in the employee handbook. 6 weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use. Requirements for these benefits will be controlled by applicable plan documents and policies.
