The company works with clients across multiple industries and geographies, delivering innovative technology solutions and long-term business value.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Netezza Developer whose primary focus is hands-on development building, optimizing, and maintaining data solutions on IBM Netezza. The role also requires strong working knowledge of Netezza Performance Server as a Service (NPSaaS) and cloud-hosted configurations, to support deployment, scaling, and day-to-day operational needs on IBM Cloud.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Design, write, and tune Netezza SQL/PL-SQL (stored procedures, custom SQLEXT functions, views) supporting the Datastage ETL pipelines.\n\n- Own end-to-end development of data pipelines, transformations, and data models to support analytics and reporting needs.\n\n- Tune queries and database objects for performance, including distribution keys, zone maps, and organize-on-clauses.\n\n- Support configuration and operational tasks on NPSaaS (Netezza Performance Server as a Service) instances hosted on IBM Cloud.\n\n- Collaborate with cloud/infra teams on provisioning, scaling, patching, and environment configuration for NPSaaS deployments.\n\n- Support migration of on-prem Netezza workloads to NPSaaS or other cloud-hosted Netezza environments.\n\n- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, job failures, and data quality issues.\n\n- Write technical documentation for developed solutions, configurations, and deployment processes.\n\n- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to development best practices.\n\n- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBAs, Data engineers, business analysts) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\n- 6+ years of hands-on development experience with IBM Netezza (IIAS/NPS) development: SQL, PL-SQL/stored procedures, and performance tuning.\n\n- Working knowledge of IBM Netezza Performance Server (NPS) SaaS on AWS, including migration behaviors, custom function compatibility, and configuration differences from on-prem IIAS.\n\n- Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills specific to Netezza's MPP architecture.\n\n- Experience with ETL tools (DataStage or similar) integrated with Netezza.\n\n- IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) or equivalent enterprise job-scheduling tool experience.\n\n- General cloud platform familiarity (IBM Cloud primarily;
