In addition to our major specializations, we continuously strive to innovate to design more than a thousand other beauty, health and hygiene products.\nThe mission we are proposing:\nReporting to the Plant Accountant, the Accounting Technician is responsible for activities related to accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, collection and associated accounting entries. He or she also monitors certain financial transactions, participates in reconciliations and contributes to the accuracy of financial data and compliance with the company's internal controls.\nAn overview of your new position\nEnsure the entire invoicing process, receipts, issuance of monthly statements of account and collection of accounts receivable.\nAdminister the invoicing of miscellaneous expenses as well as the follow-up of billable amounts to customers and associated companies.\nPrepare monthly intercompany cost analyses for the Knowlton plant and the corporate division.\nPerform bank reconciliations as well as inter-company accounts\nPrepare and record accounting entries related to accounts receivable, banking transactions and certain expense accounts for the Knowlton mill to the system.\nWrite and maintain daily and monthly reports as well as the preparation of required monitoring documents and tables.\nParticipate in the preparation of documentation for interim and year-end audits.\nComply with company policies, procedures and standards, including health and safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and work instructions.\nPerform any other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor as required by operational requirements.\n\nWhat You Need to Know About This Position\nEmployment Status: Permanent\nHours per Week: 40 hrs \nNumber of Positions Available: 1\nWork Location: Knowlton\nStart Date: As Soon As Possible\n\nYou are the ideal candidate if you have\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nDiploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Accounting;\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position;\nGood command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.\nKnowledge of the AS/400 system (asset);\nBilingualism (French and English);\n\nBilingualism is required in order to communicate with certain team members and to understand the technical documentation provided by our clients, mainly in English.\nDESIRED SKILLS:\nGood analytical mind\nRigour, precision and attention to detail\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nOrganizational skills and ability to manage priorities.\nGood team player and collaboration skills.\n\nWhat we have to offer you\nBonus program based on company performance and meeting your goals\nComprehensive group insurance program including; prescription drugs, dental, vision, and more\nShort and long-term disability insurance\nRRSP: We contribute up to 4% of your salary, matching your contribution\nAccess to telemedicine service and employee support program including sleep resources\nReceive quality, custom personal protective equipment\nOpportunities for advancement and internal mobility to develop your potential\n\nDoes the challenge speak to you?
