The role is to balance supply and demand, optimize inventory levels and coordinate activities with suppliers, including overseas partners, to ensure the availability of raw materials and components when required.\nAn overview of your new position\nAnalyze demand forecasts and develop supply plans aligned with production needs\nEnsure the availability of raw materials and components to support operations (multi-line)\nManage and optimize inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and surpluses\nCoordinate supplies with suppliers, including international suppliers (overseas), taking into account deadlines and logistical constraints\nCarry out the necessary follow-ups with suppliers in order to secure deliveries and meet commitments\nIdentify supply risks and implement mitigation plans\nCollaborate closely with internal teams (production, logistics, procurement) to ensure alignment of operations\nMaintain up-to-date data in systems (ERP, inventory parameters, prices, codes) to ensure accuracy of information\nAnalyze performance gaps and recommend avenues for continuous improvement\nPerform any other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor as required by operational requirements.\n\nWhat You Need to Know About This Position\nEmployment Status: Permanent\nHours per Week: 40 hrs\nNumber of Positions Available: 1 \nWork Location: Knowlton\nStart Date: As Soon As Possible\n\nYou are the ideal candidate if you have\nDEC or equivalent in operations management, logistics or related field\n2-5 years of experience in planning, procurement or inventory management\nProficiency in Excel and experience with an ERP system (e.g. AS400)\nGood understanding of inventory management principles\nAssets:\nExperience with international suppliers\nExperience in a manufacturing environment\nKnowledge of S&OP processes\nSupply Chain Certification (APICS CPIM, CSCP)\n\nWhat we have to offer you\nBonus program based on company performance and meeting your goals\nComprehensive group insurance program including; prescription drugs, dental, vision, and more\nShort and long-term disability insurance\nRRSP: We contribute up to 4% of your salary, matching your contribution\nAccess to telemedicine service and employee support program including sleep resources\nReceive quality, custom personal protective equipment\nOpportunities for advancement and internal mobility to develop your potential\n\nDoes the challenge speak to you?
