Based in New York, this role supports the analysis and submission of our clients’ catalogs at the Mechanical Licensing Collective (The MLC), as well as resolving conflicts of individual works. These are crucial steps in ensuring we deliver accurate, timely royalty collections and reporting to our creators.\nYou’ll play an essential part in ensuring registrations at The MLC are properly updated and maintained, allowing for seamless royalty collections. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys challenges that require a strong attention to detail, has a meticulous mindset, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPrepare, review, and submit catalog transfers through the MLC portal\nPerform desktop audits of client catalogs to ensure work registrations and metadata are correct at the MLC\nFacilitate the end-to-end resolution of work conflicts and overclaims, from gathering required documentation to final resolution \nProvide general administrative support to the broader Copyright team regarding MLC workflows and inquiries\nWhat You’ll Bring\nWorking knowledge of the MLC\nBasic understanding of music publishing rights\nExperience working in an administrative or detail-driven capacity\nResponsive to timely emails and ability to meet deadlines\nAbility to work accurately and efficiently with large volumes of data or documentation\nAbility to engage with software such as Monday, and emerging technologies\nStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skills\nA collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment\nA self-starter attitude with a desire to learn and take initiative\nProficiency in tools like Google Workspace and Excel/Sheets\nSQL experience is a plus\nKey Behaviors for Success:\nCollaboration & Teamwork\nYou’ll actively participate in team activities, support cross-functional workflows, and share information openly with across departments.
