As a key member of the plant leadership team, you’ll collaborate closely with maintenance, quality, and commercial partners to deliver best-in-class corrugated solutions.\nGeorgia-Pacific: How Corrugated Boxes are Made\nGeorgia-Pacific: Corrugated\nwww.gppackaging.com\n\nWhat You Will Do\n Lead an operating team in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality\n Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in the resolution of causes\n Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production\n Ensure best practices are followed for the minimization of waste at machine centers\n Address key issues and concerns and interact with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production\n Plan, assign, and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; assist in resolving complaints; hold employees accountable as needed; communicate issues and results daily\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment\nExperience coaching and developing a team\nExperience working in the corrugated packaging/containerboard industry on a corrugator OR in a converting operation\nMust have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience working with the KIWI application\nExperience working within a unionized workforce\nExperience with SQF or BRC\n\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
