Our Advanced Technicians in Converting play a key role in the continued operations and reliability improvements of Converting lines. They work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, other Advanced Technicians, Reliability Technicians, Technicians, and various members of the product system team. Our Advanced Technicians work in a high energy, dynamic organization established on the principles of an adaptive work system focused on the execution of reliability strategies. The Advanced Technician will learn, apply and teach the equipment theory of operation and the operational processes..\nIn this role compensation will be commensurate with experience. The schedule for this position is a rotating 12 hour shift that will require work on days, nights weekends, some holidays and overtime.\nOur Team\nOur Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world’s 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. We have over 34 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets. We strive to be a valued member of our community and we’ve built strong partnerships over the years as part of those efforts.\nWhat You Will Do\nProactively identify hazards and mitigate risk\nAdhere to high standards for quality and product safety\nTroubleshoot equipment and processes across the converting assets making repairs and adjustments\nApply knowledge and expertise while conducting machine inspections, lube routes, planned work, and preventative maintenance work orders\nAssist with maintaining a/c filters and case conveyor systems\nProvide feedback for shutdown planning and assist with execution of that work\nAssist with equipment changeovers\nApply knowledge of GP mechanical reliability standards\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nTwo or more years of experience as a reliability technician in converting operations or two or more years of general mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nPSQ Authorized on Converting Assets\nExperience using SAP to initiate repairs and document reliability opportunities\nDemonstrated experience mentoring and coaching team members\nExperience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems\nExperience in mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and repairing\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite in: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint\nHiring Philosophy\nAll Koch companies value diversity of thought, perspectives, aptitudes, experiences, and backgrounds.
