We are seeking technicians with analyzer experience who can troubleshoot, maintain, and improve critical analyzer systems that support safe and reliable plant operations. In this role, you will apply your analyzer expertise while working alongside instrumentation and electrical technicians as part of a multi-craft maintenance team.\n\nOur Team\nOur Maintenance team includes skilled Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, and Pipefitter technicians. The team works closely with Operations, Reliability, Process Engineering, and Safety groups to maintain safe and reliable operations. Our culture emphasizes safety, teamwork, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Operations and Engineering to improve analyzer reliability and operational performance while supporting maintenance and reliability objectives. This team works a 4/10 schedule with overtime as needed.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nTroubleshoot, repair, calibrate, inspect, and maintain process analyzers and analyzer systems\nMaintain gas chromatographs, process analyzers, analyzer shelters, and sample conditioning systems\nSupport startup, shutdown, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities associated with analyzer equipment\nTroubleshoot instrumentation associated with analyzer systems\nPerform basic electrical troubleshooting associated with analyzer equipment\nDevelop analyzer maintenance procedures and improve existing procedures\nMaintain accurate analyzer calibration, inspection, and maintenance records\nCollaborate with Operations, Reliability, and Engineering teams to improve analyzer performance and reliability\nPerform preventive maintenance and condition-based maintenance activities\nIdentify reliability opportunities and recommend equipment upgrades and improvements\nConduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions\nCoordinate with third-party vendors for analyzer support, services, and replacement parts\nSupport Team-Based Maintenance initiatives and reliability improvements\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n2+ years of analyzer, instrumentation, process control, or related maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility\nExperience troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining process analyzers\nExperience interpreting technical drawings, procedures, and equipment documentation\nExperience troubleshooting instrumentation associated with analyzer systems\nPhysical Requirements\nRequired to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, acid suits, breathing air, gloves, safety boots, respirators, arc flash suits, and encapsulated suits. PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task.\nAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.\nAbility to work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions.\nMust be able to work in confined spaces with supplied breathing air and congested areas.\nMust be able to climb stairs, ladders, ladders on vessels and columns, and ladders associated with scaffolds in excess of eighty feet.\nMust be able to be on call.\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience troubleshooting and maintaining gas chromatograph (GC), NOx, and O₂analyzer systems in a continuous-process manufacturing environment.\nExperience with Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)\nExperience integrating analyzer equipment with DCS, PLC, or plant control system\nExperience with instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting\nExperience facilitating RCA and Failure Mode Cause Analysis\nExperience using SAP or other CMMS systems\nExperience with Honeywell DCS or analyzer integration systems\nThis role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.\nThis role is subject to a pre-hire physical abilities test.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
