This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work across hardware and system-level challenges, including testing, troubleshooting, and firmware validation. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical Engineering degree with hands on hardware lab experience and this role will provide an opportunity to develop a deep expertise in optical components and hardware validation to effectively support customer requirements and lead technical engagements.\nWhat You Will Do\nWork closely with existing field application team to apply electrical and hardware knowledge in customer support, including: high-speed signal performance analysis, power consumption evaluation, aFirmware root cause investigation.\nWork closely with customers and Molex sales team from product conception to successful customer qualification. Manage design-in activity in concert with internal teams.\nProvide technical support of strategic accounts and drive critical customer issues to resolution.\nWork with engineering team to define product test requirements.\nInterpret industry standards, customer requirements, and competitive intelligence in order to provide guidance into product features and performance requirements to meet customer module qualification.\nBring-up transceiver modules at customer sites and develop solutions that support end-user applications\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering \nExperience in co-op, internship, coursework that required working in a lab\nExperience with power meters, oscilloscope, network analyzers, etc\nStrong interest in customer-facing roles and field issue resolution\nHands on experience with hardware and electrical circuitry\nInternship or course work related to: clock domains, voltage regulation, power consumption, thermal analysis, hardware validation\nUnderstanding of object-oriented programming principle\nThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nPhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science \nFor this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $150,000 per year.
