This role leads local procurement execution, supports storeroom operations, partners with Operations and functional teams, and drives procurement best practices across assigned Corrugated facilities.\nThe ideal candidate brings strategic and tactical purchasing, stores, inventory, and supply chain experience; works with urgency; solves problems; and collaborates across disciplines to meet Operation’s needs. This role creates value by strengthening partnerships, improving procurement processes, supporting transformation, and optimizing total cost of ownership.\nThis site-based role may sit at one of the assigned Corrugated facilities:\nWaxahachie, TX\nDenton. TX\nTravel between supported locations, including 20% possible overnight travel, is expected.\n\nOur Team\nGeorgia-Pacific’s Strategic Sourcing & Procurement organization sources and procures critical supplies, materials, services, and resources that support our facilities. SS&P partners with business and operations leaders to improve decisions, leverage best practices, capture savings, and create efficiency across the business.\nThis role helps connect local site needs with broader sourcing strategies, disciplined procurement standards, inventory optimization, and value-creation opportunities for the Corrugated business.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nLead purchasing and support stores across assigned Corrugated facilities, ensuring procurement and storeroom processes are disciplined, reliable, and aligned with business priorities. \nBuild strong partnerships with site leaders, Operations, Maintenance, corporate teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to understand needs and deliver long-term value. \nSource, purchase, negotiate, and manage inventory, equipment, MRO, services, supplies, and other external vendor needs. \nStreamline and sustain procurement processes across assigned locations and the broader Corrugated network. \nDrive appropriate use of national, regional, and local contract agreements for goods and services. \nIdentify local spending opportunities for competitive bidding, value improvement, and lowest total cost of ownership. \nOptimize working capital and inventory levels while supporting reliable storeroom execution and operational continuity. \nCollaborate with facility and headquarters teams to implement corporate initiatives and procurement transformation work. \nEnsure compliance with safety, purchasing, fiduciary, stores, and environmental policies and procedures. \nCreate value through process improvement, supplier engagement, inventory optimization, and alignment between site needs and procurement strategy. \n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience with inventory or storeroom management Including experience with Inventory Management systems. \nExperience sourcing, purchasing, or supporting procurement in a manufacturing, operations, or facility-based environment. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools. \nWilling and able to travel 20% of the time between supported locations, including overnight travel as needed. \nExperience evaluating spending, improving purchasing processes, and reducing total cost of ownership. \nExperience supporting procurement transformation, process change, root-cause identification, and corrective actions. \n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management or similar field \nMinimum three years of purchasing or supply chain related experience \nManufacturing experience \nExperience negotiating with local, regional, or national contracts \nExperience evaluating spending improving purchasing processes and reducing total cost of ownership. \nExperience supporting procurement transformation, process change, root-cause identification, and corrective actions. \nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
