Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners, you will help transform customer requirements into manufacturable product designs while ensuring quality, reliability, and on-time delivery. This role offers the opportunity to build technical expertise, take increasing ownership of design deliverables, and support continuous product improvement initiatives.\nOur Team\nYou will be part of the RF Engineering team within the Global Technical Center (GTC), Bengaluru. Our team collaborates with global engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams to develop innovative RF and microwave interconnect solutions that create value for customers across diverse industries.\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport the design and development of RF and microwave connector products from concept through production.\nCreate and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, and product documentation using NX.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance, manufacturability, and cost.\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute technical recommendations to improve product quality and reliability.\nApply engineering fundamentals, GD&T principles, and tolerance analysis techniques to validate designs.\nDevelop engineering specifications and release documentation through established PLM processes.\nSupport prototype and production activities while ensuring alignment with customer and business requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement opportunities related to product performance, quality, and efficiency.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n3-5 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.\nExperience with RF, microwave, connector, or electromechanical product design.\nProficiency in NX parametric modeling and engineering drawing creation.\nKnowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and engineering validation methodologies.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience designing RF or microwave connectors and cable assemblies.\nKnowledge of connector manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.\nExposure to simulation tools such as Mold Flow, thermal analysis, or structural CAE.\nExperience with Teamcenter or other product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.\nFamiliarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP/AQP) methodologies.\nExperience collaborating with global engineering teams and supporting international customers.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
