In this role, you will partner with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding balances, improve payment performance, and drive process efficiency. The successful candidate will leverage strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills to create value while providing exceptional customer experience.\n\nOur Team\nThis team plays a critical role in supporting the company’s financial health by driving timely collections, resolving customer account issues, and optimizing cash flow. Team members partner closely with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to solve problems, improve processes, and create long-term value for the business.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nEnsure that customers adhere to established payment terms through account monitoring and action.\nContact customers by phone, email, and customer portals to secure payment commitments, confirm remittance details, and resolve account discrepancies.\nManage a portfolio of customer accounts and execute timely follow-up on past-due invoices.\nCollaborate with internal partners to identify customer disputes and escalate appropriately to reduce and resolve payment delays.\nPrepare portfolio updates and aging commentary.\nEscalate high-risk accounts, repeat nonpayment, and change in payment behavior to leadership.\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve outcomes\nExperience leveraging Ai in a professional environment OR experience in process transformation and/or process automation\nExperience in collections, accounts receivable, credit, billing, customer service, or a related finance function\nExperience working with Microsoft Excel and business systems to analyze account information\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience in a role supporting Ocean, or Freight Forwarding, or Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), or Full Truckload, or Rail Transportation\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics Business, or a related field\nExperience managing business-to-business (B2B) collections\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
