While the primary will be in Minnesota, this role will also involve duties in Wisconsin and Iowa as necessary. The Damage Prevention Coordinator is tasked with accurately locating pipelines, ensuring safe excavations around them, inspecting Right-of-Way, and managing contractors responsible for vegetation clearance. Additionally, responsibilities include inputting data into various computer programs, receiving assignments through work management systems, and contributing to the management of small projects\nOur Team\nThe team you will be working with consists of 3 other Damage Prevention Coordinators. Our team covers Damage Prevention activities for our pipelines around our Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, MN and our area of coverage extends from the north metro area down to the Iowa border.\nOur Benefits Package Includes:\nBonus eligible!\nAutomatic 401K company contribution and competitive match program\nExcellent Health benefits\nPotential Tuition Reimbursement\n(3) weeks’ vacation to start\nAll necessary PPE is provided by the company\nWhat You Will Do\nUtilize maps, records, and other resources to accurately locate underground pipelines lines.\nManaging landowner interactions, including face-to-face meetings and follow-up activities\nFacilitating and managing landowner agreements as needed\nInstalling Right-of-Way signage and pipeline markers\nEnhancing landowners' awareness of damage prevention and emergency preparedness/response\nBuilding and maintaining relationships with landowners along the pipeline ROW\nTraveling up to 90% during the day, with occasional overnight stays\nResiding within a 60-minute drive of the Cottage Grove, MN facility\nProviding detailed depth of cover information and/or maps to affected stakeholders as needed\nWe offer a company vehicle, tools, uniforms, and training for this role. In the event of unplanned events or system call-outs, you must be available for on-call rotations during selected nights and weekends, as required. Team members may occasionally travel (with overnight stays) for regular duties, training, meetings, or short-term assistance at other locations.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and the ability to learn and use proprietary databases\nAbility to meet physical requirements for the role\nValid driver's license\nPhysical Requirements:\nPhysical ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, reach, handle, bend, twist, climb and balance\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen, and pre-hire HAZWOPER physical\nAbility & willingness to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (for example: hard hat, safety glasses, fire retardant clothing, respirator, safety work boots, etc. as required)\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds (with frequent carrying of up to 25 pounds)\nAbility to respond to audio alarms, or other loud noises that would indicate a safety concern \nMust be able to communicate hazardous conditions and other dangers\nMust be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions throughout the year\nMust be available for an on-call rotation including nights, weekends & holidays\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience in Agriculture\nPrevious experience locating pipelines or any other underground facilities\nOne year of experience in the petroleum or chemical industry\nThis role is subject to a pre-hire medical test\nThis role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship\nFor this role, we anticipate paying $36-43 per hour.
