Together, we can contribute to a healthier, safer world while fostering innovation in healthcare solutions.\nWhat You Will Do\n\nImplement corporate and site-specific safety and environmental programs and required documentation \nComplete and submit environmental permits, reports, forms, and regulatory surveys \nDevelop site-specific EHS programs, policies, procedures, and training materials \nCoordinate and deliver required safety and environmental training \nMaintain regulatory records and company metrics and communicate results to site and corporate leadership \nImplement and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS), including corrective actions \nSupport facility interactions with government agencies \nManage work-related injury and illness cases, including the Return-to-Work Program \nSupport ISO 14001, Process Safety Management, EPA and DNR emissions reporting, and Business Continuity Planning \nManage safety and environmental consultants, vendors, and contractors \nEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company EHS policies and procedures\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n\nBachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, engineering, or chemistry OR 5+ years of professional EHS experience\n2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment\nOSHA, EPA, OR state regulatory experience\nExperience in pharmaceutical, drug-device combination, or other FDA regulated manufacturing\nWorking knowledge of 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and their interaction with EHS controls.\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\n\nExperience leading teams, organizing work, solving problems, and educating or training others \nAssociate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification \nSupervisory or leadership experience in an EHS, safety, or related role \nExperience managing vendors and contractors \nExperience supporting workers’ compensation programs and processes \nExperience working with high-potency active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs) or sensitizing compounds \nHands-on knowledge of closed-transfer systems, local exhaust ventilation, isolators, gloveboxes, and dust-collection systems \nExperience supporting process validation, cleaning validation, contamination control, and cross-contamination investigations\nThis position does not qualify for VISA Sponsorship. \nIn order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export AdministrationRegulations.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
