This role is responsible for leading electrical and instrumentation work across the facility to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations in a continuous manufacturing environment.\nAs the Electrical Supervisor, you will lead and develop a team of electrical and instrument technicians while coordinating planned maintenance, troubleshooting unplanned events, and supporting plant reliability initiatives. If you are interested in joining our team, you can learn more about our Building Products division at www.buildgp.com.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead and develop electrical & instrument technicians; coach, assess, and fill skill gaps.\nPlan, schedule, and supervise electrical maintenance, outages, and contractor work.\nTroubleshoot incidents, coordinate corrective actions, and perform root cause analysis.\nOwn electrical safety and compliance: Qualified Person program, PPE, training, signage, and electrical-room housekeeping.\nMaintain and improve preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance programs (write/update job plans, specs, and PMs).\nEnsure tools and test equipment are calibrated and insulated; enforce plant standards and workflows.\nManage documentation and administrative tasks (work plans, schedules, CMMS entries, compliance audits).\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience performing electrician type work in a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or military environment.\nAbility to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) for communication and documentation.\nCommitment to safe work practices and ability to enforce them.\nMust be able to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, non-climate-controlled areas).\nOccasional after-hours and on-call work required.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience performing or supervising electrical work in an industrial or manufacturing environment (trade, electrical engineering, or military electrical experience).\nAdvanced experience in heavy industrial electrical systems.\nFamiliarity with PLC/HMI systems, drives, control systems, and the National Electrical Code.\nExperience with predictive technologies such as infrared, vibration, motor current, or lubrication.\nExposure to one or more of the following: CMMS, root cause analysis/problem solving, reading electrical drawings, or reliability improvement efforts.\nAssociate’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related fields\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
