Ensure design works hit each phase gate and release the product on time with few guidance.\n-Responsible for connector concept design, the candidate should have strong skills to output to customers through 3D and engineering reports.\n-Connector design and manufacturing experience is a must. It is better to integrate different types of connector experience and cable experience.\n-FMEA and risk analysis (use of FEA, GD&T, tolerance analysis)\n-Responsible for identifying, defining test procedure, DVP&R for any new product\n-Work with cross function team on design review to ensure product design has good DFM\n-Prepare and manage related engineering documents.\nConduct technical communication with customers on their requirements, transform the requirements into best design or improvement solutions.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nUniversity Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, and above\n8+ years of connector design experience\nGeneral knowledge and working experience on problem solving procedure and tools, ex. 8D, 5-why, fishbone, etc.\nHave a professional attitude and full responsibility for any projects and tasks assigned.\nHave a positive attitude to work and keep enthusiasm during working.\nHave strong knowledge about connector design, cable assembly design and materials - resin, metal, wire. Be familiar with the connector cable manufacturing process include stamping, molding, plating, assembly.\nNeed to have strong related product experience and skills to make risk evaluation and provide competitive design solution.\nGood planning, coordination, communication and independent analysis, judgment ability about design or process issue.\nHave a good teamwork ability and willingness to share experience with team.\nHave good learning ability and willingness to learn and receive new knowledge.\nGood communication skills in English (both written and oral)\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience of connector design of high current (greater than 200A) and/or high voltage (greater than 600V)\nExperience of connector design that used for cable harness; familiar with different connection methods of cable/wire.\nFEA software, Oral English communication\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
