You will work closely with global product design teams to create, modify, and manage high-quality product definitions that support innovation, digitalization, and faster product development. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your Siemens NX expertise while collaborating across business units to deliver scalable engineering solutions and drive value through digital transformation.\nOur Team\nYou will be part of the Product Modeling & Digital Engineering (PM&DE) team within Global Engineering Solutions (GES), a shared engineering organization based at the Global Technology Center in Bangalore. Our team partners with product engineering groups across Molex to provide product-definition expertise, CAD engineering support, and digital engineering solutions that enable efficient product development and accelerate innovation across the enterprise.\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport global product-development initiatives by creating and maintaining accurate 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation.\nCollaborate with product engineers and cross-functional teams to transform engineering requirements into robust digital product definitions.\nContribute to product development, design modifications, concept development, reverse engineering, and legacy-data modernization activities.\nDrive engineering-data quality and integrity through effective use of Siemens NX, Teamcenter, ECTR, and related PLM systems.\nSupport digital transformation initiatives, including CAD-data migration and engineering process improvements.\nDeliver high-quality engineering outputs that meet customer requirements, company standards, and project timelines.\nPartner with business-unit engineering teams to develop fit-for-purpose product modeling solutions.\nParticipate in technical reviews, project discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering effectiveness.\nIdentify project risks, communicate challenges proactively, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.\nContribute to a culture of innovation, learning, collaboration, and value creation while supporting Molex product-development objectives.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.\nOne to two years of product design or CAD engineering experience for bachelor's degree holders, or three or more years of relevant experience for diploma holders.\nHands-on experience using Siemens NX for 3D modeling and engineering drawing creation.\nExperience working with PLM systems such as Teamcenter, ECTR, or equivalent platforms.\nKnowledge of GD&T principles and their application in engineering drawings.\nExperience creating and modifying CAD models, assemblies, and engineering documentation.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with global, cross-functional engineering teams.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience supporting product development, design modifications, reverse engineering, or parametric remastering projects.\nProficiency with advanced Siemens NX capabilities, including part families, expression-based modeling, reference sets, arrangements, and sheet-metal design.\nExperience with CAD-data migration, engineering-data management, and digital engineering workflows.\nFamiliarity with engineering-document control processes and product lifecycle management best practices.\nExposure to NX-Teamcenter migration activities or other enterprise PLM implementation projects.\nKnowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, fishbone analysis, and cause-and-effect analysis.\nDemonstrated ability to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.\nStrong customer-focus and stakeholder-management skills when supporting engineering teams.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
