The team collaborates closely with corporate EHS professionals and other departments to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. The EHS team at INVISTA Longview is committed to continuous improvement and cross-site learning to enhance environmental performance.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nManage multiple compliance programs.\nDevelop tools and templates while ensuring consistency in program compliance management.\nSupporting reasonable inquiry, reporting, and compliance management processes through validating data, building, and running data queries and reports, managing environmental share drives, SharePoint sites, etc.\nDriving continuous improvement through integration with site-wide processes, “right-sizing” tools, eliminating data management redundancy, and ensuring controls are in place for critical environmental data, and improving environmental information management and reporting activities.\nEnsure program requirements are understood and sustainable through the development of rigorous, robust, and integrated compliance systems.\nPerform periodic self-assessments and participate in audits to verify compliance and system effectiveness\nPerform required inspections and field reviews for maintaining compliance with permits and regulations.\nEnsure that all deadlines are met for the site Compliance Plan and Periodic Reports.\nManage hazardous waste compliance, including manifest accuracy, RCRAInfo generator-status maintenance, and coordination of waste removal within regulatory deadlines.\nAdminister the site’s Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) program, including required inspections and follow-up actions.\nPrepare and coordinate SARA/EPCRA reporting requirements.\nSupport chemical inventory management and approval reviews.\nSupport technical response and correspondence for regulatory bodies.\nRepresent EHS in cross-functional and corporate meetings and working groups\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n\n3+ years of experience in an Environmental role\nEngineering or a Bachelor of Science degree within a science field (chemistry, environmental science, biology, etc.)\nPrevious experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting\nPrevious experience in environmental air programs (ex.
