We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed and develop the skills necessary for the role.\nOur Team\nOur team of I&E Technicians and Maintenance Mechanics collaborates closely with Operations and Support teams on troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment leading to increased uptime and reliability.\nAs an I&E Technician, you will work Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts from 7:00am - 5:30pm CST. There will also be a rotating on-call schedule among the I&E Technicians with opportunities for overtime.\nWhat You Will Do\nCalibration, installation, and preventive maintenance, repair or replacement on a variety of instruments including but not limited to various pressure, temperature and level devices.\nVerification and validation of Electronic Control Systems; Safety Instrument Systems (SIS), Distributed Control Systems (DCS),\nManage daily maintenance work-flow activities utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and other instrument software systems.\nElectrical work on installation of new services, trouble shooting, grounding and repairs.\nCalibration, installation, and preventive maintenance on variable frequency drives, electric motors, motor control centers and mechanical relay services.\nBe able to adjust, make repairs to electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems used in indication, at our facility.\nHelp develop and implement maintenance process improvements and standard work procedures.\nTravel for training opportunities to different locations.\nPerform general maintenance work, such as valve replacement, torquing of flanges on piping, and heat exchanger work.\nOccasionally respond to callouts and work overtime as needed.\nPerform work in a safe manner that adheres to all regulatory guidelines (OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, etc.)\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience interpreting electrical drawings, one lines, and Process Instrument Diagrams (P&ID's), and loop diagrams\nExperience calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, and installing instrumentation or electrical equipment\nPhysical Requirements\nClimb stairs, ladders, ladders on vessels and columns, ladders associated with scaffolds in excess of 100 feet\nLift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push and pull up to 150 lbs.\nWork in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions\nRequired to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, acid suits, breathing air, gloves, safety boots, respirators, ACR Flash suits, and encapsulated suits.
