Your Job

We are seeking a Senior SAP BW/BDC Data & Analytics Engineer to help design, modernize, and scale enterprise data and analytics solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise across SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) to deliver high-quality data products, analytics capabilities, and reporting solutions that enable business decision-making. You will collaborate closely with business and technology teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-performing data solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales domains.

The team partners with stakeholders across multiple functions to drive digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and support SAP BW on HANA and SAP BW/4HANA solutions that enable enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Lead SAP BW modernization and migration initiatives to support future-state data and analytics capabilities.
• Design and implement SAP BW data models, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Data Flows, Transformations, and Process Chains.
• Develop and maintain SAP Datasphere solutions, including Data Flows, Replication Flows, Analytic Models, and Business Layers.
• Implement SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) integration patterns and support enterprise data product development.
• Build scalable semantic models and reporting structures to support business intelligence and analytical use cases.
• Optimize data acquisition, transformation, and reporting processes to improve performance and reliability.
• Develop and enhance Native SAP HANA artifacts, including Calculation Views, SQLScript Procedures, Table Functions, and Analytical Privileges.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for SAP HANA and SAP BW environments.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into sustainable data and analytics solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technology roadmaps supporting cloud and analytics platform evolution.
• Mentor team members and share best practices related to SAP data engineering and analytics solutions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 8-12 years of progressive experience designing, developing, and supporting SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), and enterprise analytics solutions.
• Experience designing and delivering SAP BW 7.x, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP BW/4HANA solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere data modeling, integration, and analytics capabilities.
• Experience implementing SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of SAP data modeling concepts and SAP data extraction frameworks.
• Experience developing SAP BW objects including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Transformations, and Process Chains.
• Experience with Native SAP HANA development, including Calculation Views, SQLScript Procedures, and Table Functions.
• ABAP development skills supporting SAP data and analytics solutions.
• AMDP development experience.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects tools, including Analysis for Office and Web Intelligence (WebI).
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Experience integrating SAP analytics platforms with Snowflake and/or Databricks.
• Experience with BODS (SAP Data Services).
• Experience building reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.
• Experience working with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA business processes and data structures.
• Domain expertise in Finance & Controlling, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Sales & Distribution.
• Experience driving large-scale SAP BW modernization and cloud transformation programs.
• Experience designing enterprise semantic layers and reusable data products.
