Click here to find out.\nOnly candidates who are able to work this schedule will be considered.\nJonestown operates on a point-based attendance program.\nOur Team\nGeorgia-Pacific’s Mailers is a part of the Packaging and Cellulose business, the Mailers business is expanding its product lines, working with key customers to create and launch one or more new products to complement our already thriving recyclable padded mailer business.\nWatch a short 60 sec video to see what we do at Mailers: How We Make Mailers | Georgia-Pacific - YouTube\nWhat You Will Do\n Perform necessary functions to lead teams on one or more lines with minimal supervision and provide direction to assistant machine operator, utility machine operator, and other team members to maintain facility standards in safety, productivity, waste, housekeeping and quality standards\n Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments; operates in line systems with minimal supervision including manual duties such as handpacking\n Perform makeready/changeover machine setups according to production schedules\n Assist in the completion of duties surrounding preventative maintenance tasks\n Consistently look for improvements and efficiencies to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards set\n Recognize and drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively recognize unsafe conditions or behaviors\n Ensure that all materials related to the job ticket are scanned into Plex when used and that scrap is recorded correctly once material has been consumed completely\n Perform required quality inspections and tests, while maintaining accurate records of results\n Maintain and clean machines and working area as needed\n Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n 2+ years experience operating production machinery\n Previous lead/leadership experience in a manufacturing , military, or industrial environment\nPrevious experience in web manufacturing, converting, or other high-volume production operations\n Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance\n This role works rotating 12 hour shifts, with a 7-day break in every 28-day period\n What Will Put You Ahead\n 3+ years of experience as a paper setter, operator, tender, or printing process experience such as offset printing, digital printing, web printing, or corrugating or converting experience, including inspecting quality of printed materials for alignment, registration and print defects\n 2+ years of experience working in a maintenance department\n Experience with the make ready process to prepare equipment for a new job\n Experience trouble shooting machine setup, adjusting machines and solutioning key issues safely\nExperience using a computer, tablet, or smart device\nOther Considerations/Physical Requirements\n This role will perform tasks such as lifting up to 35lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, sitting, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, and high-volume environment\n This role will be on your feet for prolonged periods of time and lift 35lbs occasionally \n For this role, we anticipate paying $33.50 per hour.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
