This facility manufactures multi-dimensional lumber products to meet customer needs.\nShift:\n Only candidates who are flexible to be assigned to work any shift will be considered.\n The schedule is a rotation of two weeks on days than two weeks on nights and all shifts are 12 hours.\n Diboll operates on a points-based attendance program.\nOur Team\nLumber is made by processing logs from harvested trees into useable boards and planks for construction and manufacturing. The team is composed of dedicated employees who understand the importance of dependability and maintaining highly efficient, well-maintained assets. They work effectively together, demonstrating strong teamwork and clear, detailed communication, particularly when addressing boiler-related issues. Their collaboration, professionalism, and commitment contribute to reliable operations and consistent performance.\nWhat You Will Do\n Work rotating shifts of up to twelve (12) hours a day\n Work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed\n Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety PPE\n Operate a variety of equipment including forklifts, front end loaders, air lances, chainsaws, pike poles, and other mill tools\n Create a safe workspace by maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas\n Contribute to a team environment by cross-training on production equipment to fill in for other operators during absences and breaks\n Work in challenging, high-volume environments (heat, cold, humidity, grease, dust, noise, etc.)\n Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n·One (1) year of experience in manufacturing, military, industrial, farming, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, or construction environment\nPhysical Requirements:\nWalk on elevated catwalks over 15 feet high to perform daily duties\nWork in a non-climate controlled mill, with dust, noise and temperatures that can be higher in the summer and lower in the winter\nPerform tasks such as lifting (50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nOne (1) year of experience or more working in the plywood, lumber, or timber industry\nExperience operating a forklift\nExperience operating a front-end loader\nExperience conducting or attending safety meetings in a manufacturing environment\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
