Through Guardian Glass, a Guardian Industries company, we make high- performance, energy efficient glass for homes and buildings.\nWhat You Will Do\nParticipate in an apprenticeship and on-the-job training to develop mechanical maintenance knowledge and skills \nWork alongside experienced maintenance technicians to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment\nAssist with preventative and predictive maintenance activities \nLearn to troubleshoot mechanical systems, including bearings, conveyors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems\nUse a computer or tablet to document maintenance activities, enter work order, identify parts, and maintain accurate maintenance records \nIdentify equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs to technicians, supervisors, and operations employees \nMaintain a clean and organized work area \nFollow all company safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures \nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience using a computer or tablet for documentation, communication, and/or record-keeping \nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nA degree or certification in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance\nExperience working within an industrial manufacturing environment \nExperience with hydraulics and pneumatics\nExperience prioritizing down-time severity\nExperience troubleshooting root causes and applying long-term solutions\nExperience reading and interpreting machine electrical and mechanical drawings\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
