The Mechanical Supervisor will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering leaders to execute short-term and long-term maintenance strategies that support the safety, reliability, and performance of the area’s equipment. This role reports to the Mechanical Superintendent.\n\nOur Team\nThe Brunswick Cellulose facility is one of the largest integrated fluff pulp mills in the country with a modern woodyard, fiberline, three paper machines, waste treatment plant, and utilities operations. The Brunswick Cellulose Mill, locatedin the southeast corner of Georgia is within minutes of downtown Brunswick and about an hour from Jacksonville, FL to the south and Savannah, GA to the north.\n\n What You Will Do\nLead the performance and development of the mechanical maintenance team by demonstrating strong leadership and reinforcing best practices\nDevelop and manage weekly schedules for mechanical maintenance crafts based on planned work, and assign resources to planned work orders\nManage mechanical maintenance resources and work orders, prioritizing safety-related work orders and preventive maintenance activities\nInvestigate injuries and ensure incident reports and root cause analyses are completed, including appropriate follow-up actions\nApply economic thinking when addressing resource gaps and maximizing crew efficiency\nManage contractors supporting routine maintenance work\nSupport the Asset Maintenance Work Process (AMWP) by:\nProviding daily updates on scheduled work and emerging liabilities\nReviewing precision maintenance sheets and sharing relevant information with operations\nSupporting maintenance key performance indicators, including schedule adherence, preventive maintenance compliance, and resource utilization\nClosing work orders and providing feedback to planners to support continuous improvement\n Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience applying reliability, predictive maintenance, and preventive maintenance techniques\nExperience performing mechanical maintenance, including repairing or troubleshooting industrial equipment such as pumps and tanks, in an industrial or manufacturing environment\nExperience using analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex equipment or maintenance issues\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nBachelor’s degree\nKnowledge of steam-powered turbines\nExperience using a computerized maintenance management system, such as 4Site, Passport, AssetSuite, or SAP\nExperience in the pulp and paper industry or woodyard\nExperience leading root cause failure analyses\nExperience implementing precision maintenance techniques to improve equipment reliability\nExperience leading teams of hourly employees\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
