Your Job

As an Engineer, New Product Development Sourcing (NPD Sourcing Engineer), you will lead sourcing activities throughout the Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure competitive cost, supply continuity, supplier capability, and successful product launches. You will partner with Business Units, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers to create value through strategic sourcing decisions and supply chain optimization.

Our Team

You will be part of the Global Procurement organization's New Product Development Sourcing team. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, and Business Unit teams, you will support new product development through supplier engagement, cost management, and sourcing strategies that enable successful product launches.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Engineering and Product Development teams throughout the Product Development Process (PDP).
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for new product development projects and support successful product launches.
  • Lead sourcing activities including RFQs, commercial evaluations, supplier negotiations, and cost analyses.
  • Drive Design-to-Value initiatives and support BOM and CAPEX objectives.
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships and support supplier qualification and onboarding activities.
  • Identify and mitigate sourcing and supply chain risks to support flawless product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sourcing deliverables, process improvements, and innovation opportunities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; exposure to sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, or supply chain management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, sourcing, supplier management, and cost analysis.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in EMS, automotive, consumer electronics, connector manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Global manufacturing exposure.
  • Strong supplier network and market intelligence capabilities.
  • Knowledge of product development and stage-gate processes.
