You will provide technical leadership for new product introductions, process improvements, troubleshooting activities, and implementation of scientific molding methodologies across manufacturing operations.\nOur Team\nYou will be part of the NPI organization, partnering with manufacturing, tooling, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to successfully launch new products and improve molding processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring process stability, production readiness, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop, validate, and optimize injection molding processes to support product launches and manufacturing excellence.\nLead mold qualification activities and establish robust molding process parameters.\nSupport new product introduction (NPI) initiatives from development through production implementation.\nProvide technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for molding process issues.\nCollaborate with suppliers to support tooling, process development, and production readiness activities.\nSupport process transfers between facilities and ensure successful implementation of manufacturing standards.\nEvaluate and implement molding technologies, process improvements, and best practices.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing requirements.\nApply scientific molding techniques and data-driven decision making to improve product quality and process performance.\nSupport training activities and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Tooling Engineering, or a related technical field.\nFive or more years of experience in injection molding process engineering.\nExperience developing, validating, and optimizing injection molding processes.\nExperience with scientific molding methodologies.\nKnowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), PFMEA, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.\nExperience with injection molding machine setup and process optimization.\nKnowledge of polymer processing and material behavior.\nAbility to interpret Moldflow analysis results.\nAbility to read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings.\nExperience performing statistical analysis and process capability studies.\nStrong project management and communication skills.\nAbility to travel up to 25% in support of process transfers, supplier support, and training activities.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nTen or more years of experience in injection molding process engineering.\nSpecialized training in Injection Molding, Scientific Molding, or Polymer Engineering.\nRJG Master Molder I or Master Molder II certification.\nExperience with cavity pressure monitoring systems such as Kistler and RJG.\nExperience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.\nAdvanced expertise supporting global NPI and manufacturing operations.\nExperience collaborating directly with tooling suppliers and external manufacturing partners.\nWho We Are\nAs a Koch company, Molex is a globally recognized provider of electronic solutions, enabling innovation in industries ranging from automotive to healthcare.
