In this highly collaborative role, you will apply technical knowledge to solve complex plant challenges, contribute and/or initiate strategic projects, and identify opportunities that create long-term value.\n This position will ideally be located and/or relocate to our Wichita, KS office location or one of our operation facilities across the fleet. \nOur Team\n\nYou will partner with operations, engineering, and business teams across KAES. Together, the team works to improve current performance, develop future capabilities, and advance growth opportunities across the business.\nWhat You Will Do\n\nServe as a subject matter expert for urea / UAN technology across KAES.\nPartner with plant teams to optimize operations and resolve significant technical and operational challenges.\nInitiate, contribute and support technology projects across urea / UAN plants that improve long-term operational performance and create sustainable value.\nIdentify and advance growth projects with teams across KAES business groups.\nPartner with engineering contractors to develop, evaluate, and validate technical solutions and alternatives.\nBuild relationships with external companies and industry experts to acquire knowledge and identify new opportunities.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n\nExperience with UREA/UAN manufacturing, operations, technology, or processes.\nWilling and able to regularly travel domestically to meet business needs.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\n\nExperience with process optimization, process engineering, process technology or production support.\nDemonstrated examples of implemented substantial improvements either directly in plant processes or via capital projects\nExperience supporting capital projects, turnarounds, or plant startups.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
