Discover the art and science of glassmaking with this video Koch Makes This: Guardian Glass to view how Guardian Glass crafts premium glass products.\nWhat You Will Do\nPrepare final products for shipping and distribution\nSafely hold and carry pieces of glass of various sizes, shapes, and thickness weighing up to 80 pounds\nLift and laterally move racks and box lids form 20 to 40 pounds repetitively\nExecute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues and report unresolved issues immediately\nParticipate in setting team goals and managing job assignments to help drive continuous improvement for the department\nOperate and troubleshoot equipment\nConduct required quality checks and inspections to ensure product specifications are met\nWear all required safety and personal protective equipment, which always includes safety shoes and safety glasses on the production floor. Safety sleeves, earplugs, dust masks, respirators, hoods, etc. may be required depending on specific assignment or work areas\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience using a computer\nExperience with safety protocols, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly within dynamic, team-oriented environments\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nOne (1) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment\n6 or more months of machine operator experience\nPreventive and predictive maintenance experience\nFor this role, we anticipate paying $20 per hour.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
