The Supervisor will utilize leadership, operations experience, and communication to identify and convert improvement opportunities related to people, process, and systems. One week you will work first shift (6:15 am - 3:30 pm) and the next week you will work 2nd shift (2:45 pm - 11:30 p m). Come join our team!\nGeorgia-Pacific: How Corrugated Boxes are Made\nGeorgia-Pacific: Corrugated\nwww.gppackaging.com\n\nWhat You Will Do\nLead an operating team in compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality\nDrive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolution of causes\nCoach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production\nEnsure best practices are followed for minimization of waste at machine centers\nAddress key issues and concerns and interact with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production\nPlan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; assist in resolving complaints; hold employees accountable as needed; communicate issues and results on a daily basis\n Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial OR military environment\nExperience coaching and developing a team\nExperience working in the corrugated packaging/containerboard industry on a corrugator OR in a converting operation\nMust have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience working with KIWI application\nExperience working within a unionized workforce\nExperience with SQF or BRC\n\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
