In this role the successful candidate will be part of a world-class engineering team, contributing to the development of the advanced wafer level and opto-mechanical package technology aimed for CPO, NPO, next generation coherent and PAM4 optical transceivers. The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for the planning and execution of these complex development programs to achieve the desired performance objectives (e.g. cost, schedule). The Program Manager is a critical leadership position in the product development team expected to ensure the co-ordination of the activities of a large, multi-functional and geographically dispersed team. Some travel is expected in this role.\n\nOur Team\nR&D Optoelectronic Solutions.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nPreparation of detailed program plans capturing resource requirements, schedules, budget, product cost, manufacturing strategies, risk management plans, etc.\nExecution of the program per the plan of record.\nEnsure compliance to OSBU’s product development process. \nTracking and reporting of key program metrics.\nProviding program updates to executive management and customers.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor's degree.\nAt least 3 years’ experience in program managemen.\nProduct design and development experience in optical transceiver, consumer electronics or medical device industrie.\nDemonstrable record of successfully running complex development programs.\nAdept at leading through influence, strong negotiation skills and an ability to form collaborative working relationships.\nStrong planning ability, particularly when presented with ambiguity.\nKnowledge of product life cycle management, business processes, and tools for project planning.\nProficient in both oral and written English.\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nMaster’s or Ph.D. degree.\nPMP or equivalent project management certification.\nMore than 5 years’ experience in optical transceiver industry.\nFiber optics industry optical component, Optical sub-assembly and module HW development experience.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
