In this role, you will lead quality initiatives that help ensure our products consistently meet customer expectations while supporting operational excellence in addition to providing technical and people leadership to a team of Quality Technicians, drive continuous improvement efforts, and partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Customer Quality teams to solve problems, improve processes, and strengthen our quality management systems. Your contributions will help create a safer, more efficient operation while supporting the growth and success of our distribution business.\n\nOur Team\nOur Quality team plays a critical role in supporting the Molex Distribution Center by ensuring products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, develop others, and help shape the future of quality within a growing operation.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nPromote a proactive safety culture by complying with Environmental, Health & Safety requirements, engaging employees, and implementing corrective actions based on safety observations, near misses, and incidents.\nSupervise, coach, and develop Quality Technicians while building a flexible, cross-trained team capable of supporting current Distribution operations and future growth.\nProvide technical leadership for Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) activities and associated quality deliverables, including new product introduction, product transfers, process validation, inspection planning, sampling strategies, and product quality criteria, to ensure products are effectively introduced into manufacturing.\nLead and support structured Root Cause Analysis, quality investigations, and CAPA activities to ensure corrective and preventive actions effectively address root causes and prevent recurrence.\nOversee quality system activities including quality events, deviations, nonconforming material and MRBs, CAPAs, batch records, inspection plans, Certificates of Compliance, and other applicable quality documentation.\nDevelop and implement statistical incoming plans, control plans, inspection strategies, and measurement methods appropriate to product and process requirements.\nSupport internal, customer, regulatory, and external audits and ensure identified actions are appropriately addressed.\nFacilitate and improve quality systems and procedures that support operational excellence and compliance with applicable customer, regulatory, and quality management system requirements.\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n\nBachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of direct Quality, Quality Engineering, Validation, or related manufacturing quality experience.\n2+ years of experience working in a distribution environment.\nExperience with quality problem-solving methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis and corrective action.\nSAP Experience.\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\n\n2+ years of experience leading or providing technical leadership to Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians, Quality Inspectors, or similar quality personnel in a manufacturing/distribution environment.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management system standards.\nExperience participating in or supporting customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with Operations, Engineering, leadership, customers, and other cross-functional partners.\nThis position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship. \nIn order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export AdministrationRegulations.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
