As a Quality Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring products meet quality requirements before they move through our distribution network and reach our customers. You will perform incoming and outgoing inspections, support root cause investigations, communicate quality concerns, and take containment actions when issues arise. You will also help strengthen our quality processes by maintaining accurate inspection records, verifying measurement equipment, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.\nShift Options:\n1st Shift, M-F, 7am - 3pm\n2nd Shift, M-F, 3pm - 11pm\n\nOur Team\nThe Quality team works closely with operations and other partners to ensure products meet applicable specifications, drawings, processes, and customer requirements. As part of this team, you will use hands-on inspection and problem-solving skills to identify quality concerns, support sustainable solutions, and help maintain reliable quality processes throughout the distribution operation.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport root cause investigations related to incoming materials/components.\nInspect products, both incoming and outgoing. \nRecord inspection results accurately and communicate through appropriate channels.\nCommunicate quality alerts and execute containment actions.\nEnsure test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.\nFoster a culture of transformation and continuous improvement.\nDrive sustainable quality processes and systems through management systems and verification routines.\nChampion applicable quality programs and initiatives.\nEnsure acceptance criteria is met per drawings, processes, and customer requests.\nCommunicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from front-line employees to executive leaders\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\n\n1+ year of manufacturing experience.\nExperience inspecting products or auditing processes.\nExperience in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\n\nExperience with ERP systems, SAP preferred. \n2+ years of experience in production, quality or supplier-related roles\nExperience with measurement equipment such as calibers, micrometers, rulers and height gauges\nExperience with continuous improvement projects\nAbility to interpret specifications and technical drawings \nThis position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship. \nIn order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export AdministrationRegulations.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
