This role works across sites, functions, and regions to deliver solutions that support business growth and strengthen Molex's position within targeted medical markets.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nLead the design and development of innovative products and technologies aligned with business and technology roadmaps.\nProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and project teams.\nSupport the creation and execution of technology, product, and capability roadmaps.\nDevelop engineering knowledge and processes that enable superior product designs and manufacturing outcomes.\nDesign cable, connector, and contact solutions that achieve performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost objectives.\nLead cross-functional design reviews including requirements definition, manufacturability assessments, and application of GD&T principles.\nTranslate customer requirements into engineering, manufacturing, quality, validation, and testing specifications.\nPerform root-cause investigations and lead corrective actions using established problem-solving methodologies.\nIdentify project risks early and implement mitigation plans to support successful project execution.\nFacilitate prototype builds and evaluations using internal and external development resources.\nPartner with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Marketing teams to support product development and commercialization efforts.\nSupport customer engagements, quotation development, and technical proposal activities.\nPromote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, innovation, and value creation.\nDemonstrate behaviors consistent with organizational values and leadership expectations.\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nSignificant experience developing and leading complex engineering and product development initiatives.\nExperience designing electromechanical, cable, connector, or interconnect solutions.\nExperience utilizing CAD tools such as SolidWorks for product design and development.\nKnowledge of engineering materials including polymers, metals, alloys, and composites.\nExperience applying design-for-manufacturability principles across machining, molding, stamping, turning, deep-draw, and additive manufacturing processes.\nExperience utilizing FMEA, tolerance analysis, and structured engineering problem-solving methodologies.\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience developing interconnect solutions for medical applications.\nKnowledge of medical device quality and regulatory environments including ISO 13485 and IEC 60601.\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and EIA-364 standards.\nExperience with RF, fiber optic, digital, and power interconnect systems.\nKnowledge of EMI/RF shielding and environmental sealing technologies.\nExperience with contact termination, over-molding, and strain-relief design techniques.\nExperience leading globally distributed engineering teams.\nExperience supporting customer-facing technical engagements and supplier collaborations.\n\nHiring Philosophy\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
