Your projects will span building modifications, civil works, mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, utility improvements, equipment support installations, renovations, compliance-related upgrades and facility infrastructure projects.\nYou will play an important role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, within approved scope, timeline, budget and quality requirements, while minimising disruption to production and site operations.\nOur Team\nYou will be part of the Facilities / Engineering team, reporting to the Facility Manager. You will work closely with internal users and cross-functional stakeholders, including Production, EHS, Procurement and Finance, as well as contractors, consultants and vendors, to successfully deliver facility projects across the manufacturing site.\nWhat You Will Do\nFacility Project Management\nLead assigned facility projects from planning through to completion and handover.\nPrepare project scope, timeline, cost estimates, execution plans and project trackers.\nCoordinate with internal users, contractors, consultants, vendors and cross-functional teams.\nMonitor project progress, site constraints, schedules, costs, safety and quality.\nEnsure projects are completed within agreed timelines, approved scope and budget.\nPrepare project updates, progress reports, completion reports and handover documentation.\nScope Development & Technical Coordination\nPrepare and review scopes of work, RFQs, BQs, technical specifications and project requirements.\nReview contractor proposals, drawings, layouts, material submissions and method statements.\nCoordinate technical clarifications between Facilities, Production, EHS, Procurement, Finance, contractors and consultants.\nEnsure project scopes are clearly defined before work begins to avoid gaps, rework and unsupported variation claims.\nSupport feasibility studies and technical evaluations for facility improvement projects.\nCivil, Structural, M&E & Utility Projects\nManage projects involving building renovations, room modifications, platforms, mezzanines, trenching, plinths, foundations, doors, wall openings, roofs, drainage, roads and external works.\nManage M&E and utility-related projects such as electrical works, HVAC, CDA, cooling towers, exhaust systems, scrubbers, water systems, fire systems, piping and facility equipment installations.\nCoordinate required shutdowns, tie-in works, isolation, testing and commissioning.\nEnsure all project works are properly integrated with existing facility systems.\nContractor Management\nManage contractors from site survey and quotation stages through work execution and completion.\nEnsure contractors submit method statements, risk assessments, work schedules, manpower plans and required documentation.\nVerify contractor work quality, progress, safety compliance and completion status.\nReview contractor claims, additional work requests and variation orders against actual site work.\nEnsure contractors complete all rectification, testing and handover requirements before acceptance.\nSafety, Permit & Compliance Control\nEnsure all project activities comply with site safety requirements, including PTW, LOTO, working at height, lifting, hot work, excavation, barricading, PPE and housekeeping requirements.\nIdentify project risks, including production interruptions, utility interruptions, fire route blockages, emergency access, structural risks and safety hazards.\nCoordinate with EHS, where required, on risk assessments, contractor safety and compliance reviews.\nStop unsafe work and escalate any safety or compliance concerns immediately.\nBudget, Cost & Schedule Control\nSupport project budget preparation and cost estimation.\nTrack project costs, PO status, invoice support, variation requests and budget utilisation.\nMonitor project schedules and highlight potential delays early.\nPrepare recovery plans for delayed or critical project items.\nEnsure any additional costs or scope changes are justified, reviewed and approved before execution.\nTesting, Commissioning & Handover\nCoordinate testing and commissioning activities for completed works.\nVerify project completion against approved scope and acceptance criteria.\nEnsure all defects, punch-list items and outstanding works are closed.\nCollect and file all handover documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, certificates, datasheets, warranties, manuals and completion photos.\nConduct final handover to users and the Facility Operations team.\nDocumentation & Reporting\nMaintain proper project records, drawings, approvals, reports and communication history.\nPrepare project progress updates for management review.\nMaintain project trackers covering scope, status, target dates, issues, risks, next actions and support required.\nEnsure lessons learned and improvement actions are captured and applied to future projects.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of working experience in facility projects, engineering projects, construction, maintenance or a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in project management, site coordination, contractor management and work supervision.\nAbility to prepare RFQs, BQs, scopes of work and project schedules, with a basic understanding of M&E, C&S and building services and the ability to interpret drawings, layouts, technical proposals and construction details.\nKnowledge of site safety requirements, including PTW, LOTO, working at height, lifting and hot work controls, with the ability to track project costs, schedules and progress and communicate effectively with internal users, contractors and management.\nAbility to work under pressure and support shutdown or after-office-hours project works when required.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience working within a factory or manufacturing
