This role will ideally be based out of DEPCOM’s Pleasanton, CA office. DEPCOM is a leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Repowering and Energy Storage services for the U.S. utility solar and energy industries.\n What You Will Do in Your Role\n Develop Preliminary Site Plans and Class 0 Bill of Materials to support project development engineering, bidding and estimating, and business development during the project bidding phase\nPerform document reviews and offer technical support, including but not limited to ALTA surveys, topographic assessments, conditional use permits, hydrology studies and environmental site assessments\nProduce high quality, constructable Site Plans and Class 1 Bill of Materials to other engineering disciplines and construction team\nConduct fundamental civil design work, including surface analysis, watershed analysis, and preliminary grading, etc\nCollaborate with other departments to provide support during execution and construction phases,ensuring adherence to the project schedule\nAttend internal and external meeting as needed\nEnhance team performance by actively seeking opportunities for process improvement and design optimization\n Who you are (Basic Qualifications)\nExperience using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D\nExperience in design and engineering in construction, transportation, renewables, oil & gas, data center, or other industrial or commercial industries\n What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)\n Experience in utility-scale solar design software (PVfarm, etc.)\nBachelor Degree or higher in Engineering or Science\nExperience in civil design and engineering\n\nLicensed Professional Engineer or FE candidate or seeking a Professional Engineering License\n\nExperience in programming for design automation\nFor this role, we anticipate paying $85,000-$120,000 based on experience.
