We value creative thinking, disciplined execution, problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nWhat You Will Do\nApply software expertiseand entrepreneurial thinking to solve business challenges across design, manufacturing, testing, and verification.\n\nDesign, develop, modify, and maintainPython software modules for product testing and qualification throughout product development and manufacturing.\n\nCollaborate with electrical, mechanical, and signal integrity engineers to create software solutions for testing high-speed and low-speed electrical performance.\n\nBuild and enhance desktop software (Python) to optimizeand expand capabilities in global manufacturing centers.\n\nPartner with engineering teams to develop tools that improve the design process and engineering efficiency, focusing on feature implementation, configuration, and application development.\n\nContinuously learn and adopt new technologiesto keep software skills current.\n\nConduct code reviews, design reviews, and unit testing to improve software reliability and performance.\n\nAnalyze test results, prepare reports, and implement necessary software modifications.\n\nDocument software solutions and share knowledge internally with other engineers.\n\nDemonstrate proficiency in Python development and standard software verification and validation techniques.\n\nExplore and contribute to new concepts and innovative solutions.\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor’s or master’sdegree in electricalor Electronics/ Computer Sc/System Engineering.\n\n2-4 years of experience working with Python-based desktop applications.\n\nMinimum 1+ yearsof practical software development experience in Python with demonstratedability to design and build tools and applications that support testing and validation workflows.\n\nExperience with source control and software development lifecycle tools, including version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and issue/bug tracking platforms (e.g., JIRA).\n\nBasic knowledge of SQLand database concepts.\n\nKnowledge of software testing practices, test automation, and unit testing frameworks such as PyTestand unittest.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills demonstratethe ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely with global teams.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identifysolutions, evaluate outcomes, and apply software design principles to develop effective and maintainable applications.\n\nHigh proficiencyusing analytical tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and others as required.\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExposure to hardware systems, electrical interconnects, or manufacturing processes,\n\nExperience with scientific Python libraries and tools like NumPy, Pandas, and Anaconda.\n\nProven ability to develop reusable software libraries, APIs, and frameworks designed for use by other engineers and testers.\n\nExposure to CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.\n\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
