We are looking for an Analog Electrical Design Engineer.\n This person will be responsible for the designing, developing, testing, optimizing, and debugging analog circuits and systems with a focus on innovative optical networking devices and systems. You will be responsible for leading the electrical aspects of these products from concept to production, collaborating with other engineers, scientists, and customers, and ensuring the highest quality and performance of our products.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign, develop, debug, optimize, and test analog circuits and systems, such as filters, ADC, DAC, PD, TIA, EDFA amplifier design, op-amp based amplifiers and active filters\nCreate and maintain test plans, technical documents, reports, and presentations, generate engineering changes, release designs for fabrication and assembly, evaluate vendors, analyze issues and determine root cause\nParticipate in design reviews and provide feedback on the design of analog circuits and systems\nWork with other team members to optimize and finalize design for full production and to meet all specifications\nProvide technical support to customers and suppliers\nPerform and/or support design verification, reliability, and failure analysis to ensure that design meets all specifications and customer requirements\nPerform other related duties as assigned by management\n\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field or discipline\nAt least 5 years of experience in analog electrical circuit design and development\nSolid fundamental knowledge and expertise in analog electrical circuit design and debug of various circuits\nSolid experience using CAD tools, such as OrCAD, and familiarity with Allegro\nFamiliar with DFMEA, PFMEA\nFamiliar with design for manufacturing and yield\nExperience in leading projects, coordinating team members, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget\nExperience in mentoring other engineers\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nMS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field related technical discipline\n8+ years of mechanical system design and process development of optical products\nExperience with optical networking products and associated electrical circuits such as EDFA amplifiers, VOA, Photo Detectors, ADC, DAC, op-amps, or optical transceivers, etc.\nExperience with simulation tools such as SPICE\nFor this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $195,000 per year.
