In this role, you will apply your hands-on mold experience and technical knowledge to ensure molds operate reliably and meet production and quality requirements.\nOur Team\nYou will be part of the manufacturing team, working closely with Machining, Design, Production, and Quality teams to support mold readiness, resolve technical issues, and continuously improve mold performance.\nWhat You Will Do\nAssemble and fit new molds according to technical drawings and design specifications.\nEnsure accurate fitting and alignment of key mold components, including cavities, cores, sliders, lifters, ejectors, inserts, and gate inserts.\nInspect mold components for dimensional accuracy, concentricity, parallelism, and proper fit.\nInstall, inspect, and troubleshoot mold systems, including ejector, cooling, pneumatic, vacuum, slider, lifter, and other moving mechanisms.\nSupport mold trials, identify technical issues, and implement corrective actions to improve mold performance.\nTroubleshoot and repair mold-related defects such as flash, short shots, part misalignment, mechanism jamming, and damaged mold components.\nPerform preventive maintenance and servicing to maintain mold reliability and performance.\nCollaborate with Machining, Design, Production, and Quality teams to solve problems and drive mold improvements.\nMaintain accurate mold repair, maintenance, and history records.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nTechnical education/background in Mechanical, Mold & Die, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.\nExperience in mold assembly, fitting, repair, or maintenance.\nAbility to read and understand technical drawings.\nKnowledge of injection mold structures, components, and operating mechanisms.\nHands-on troubleshooting skills for mold-related technical issues.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience operating injection molding machines.\nExperience supporting mold trials and injection molding troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of mold fitting, measurement, and precision inspection techniques.\nExperience working with complex mold mechanisms such as sliders, lifters, ejector systems, cooling systems, or pneumatic/vacuum systems.\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
