OPD's industry experience, flexibility, and personal attention have made us a preferred partner to our customers and our tight knit, highly productive, team atmosphere makes OPD a great place to work.\nWhat You Will Do\nSome core responsibilities for a Truck Driver include:\nMaintenance and repair of machinery as requested or required.\nDriving water truck to dry areas of jobsite\nDrive truck and pull a trailer\nFollow signal directions while safely operating equipment\nWe expect all field employees to:\nActively participate in a strong safety culture\nRecognize safety hazards and risks\nParticipate in onsite safety meetings\nFollow OPD and client safety policies and procedures\nBe aware of changing conditions on an active jobsite\nBe on time to the jobsite each day ready for work\nDisplay a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment\nSome physical demands of being a Truck Driver include:\nCapable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.\nLifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs\nStanding for extended periods of time up to 12 hours per day.\nMoving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.\nMust have good hand-eye coordination\nUse hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.\nWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)\nValid Commercial Driver’s License\nAt least 6 months of experience driving a dump truck, cement truck, or other commercial vehicle\nTravel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas at times\nMust pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check\nMust work in extreme heat, humidity, and cold conditions\nMust attend mandatory safety meetings\nMust work in a team environment\nMust work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week\nMust meet basic physical requirements\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nPrevious experience in oil and gas construction\n3+ years of relevant work experience\nAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
