At KODE, results speak louder than titles, and every person drives meaningful impact.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a curious, analytical, and forward-thinking Energy Analyst to join our growing team at KODE Labs - right as we launch ourinnovative and high-impact energy module.\nIn this role, you’ll work at the intersection of data, technology, and sustainability, collaborating with some of the most exciting clients and portfolios around the world. You’ll help shape how global organizations visualize, understand, and act on their energy data - from utility billing and metering systems to advanced performance dashboards that redefine what energy intelligence looks like.\nIf you’re passionate about turning raw data into real-world impact, this is your opportunity to help deliver a product that’s setting a new standard in the built environment. You’ll have hands-on ownership of energy data workflows - from setup and validation to automated delivery and visualization - while working alongside talented engineers, data analysts, and sustainability experts to make buildings smarter and more sustainable.\nWhat You'll Do\nAnalyze and interpret energy data (metering, sub metering, and utility billing) to identify trends, anomalies, and efficiency opportunities.\n\nCoordinate & Deliver utility billing and invoicing integrations, ensuring data completeness, consistency, and accuracy\n\nConfigure, validate, and maintain energy metering dashboards, integrating data sources and ensuring accurate mappings.\n\nUnderstand and troubleshoot energy metering infrastructure, including hierarchy mapping, device accuracy, and data acquisition systems.\n\nDeliver actionable energy performance insights through visualizations, dashboards, and reports.\n\nSupport sustainability bench marking and compliance with frameworks such as ENERGY STAR, LEED, NABERS, GRESB, and SBTi.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with data engineering, customer success, and product teams to ensure successful project delivery.\n\nContinuously improve energy data processes, QA/QC standards, and analytics automation.\n\nAnalyze and interpret energy consumption data to produce actionable reports that inform and support continuous efficiency improvements.\n\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired:\n2-3 years of experience working with energy data from metering systems, sub metering, or utility billing statements.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to data integrity and validation.\n\nWorking knowledge of energy metering infrastructure, data hierarchies, and calculation methods.\n\nCommunicate complex energy performance metrics in clear, concise terms to help leaders make data-driven decisions at every level.\n\nExperience in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms and Microsoft Excel or comparable software\n\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical insights into clear, actionable findings.\n\nBasic proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and automation.\n\nNice-to-Have Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, or a related field.\n\nAbility to perform engineering analyses and calculations related to systems and processes that consume electricity and natural gas.\n\nFamiliarity with utility programs and incentive structures to support facilities in securing rebates and funding for energy efficiency initiatives.\n\nPrior experience at an energy consulting firm, energy service company (ESCO), or energy/sustainability software company.\n\nFamiliarity with energy or sustainability management platforms\n\nUnderstanding of building performance metrics (EUI, carbon intensity) and ESG reporting frameworks.\n\nBenefits\nWhy Join KODE\nMassive Impact: Your work directly informs the efficiency and sustainability efforts of some of the world's largest real estate portfolios, delivering tangible value that matters.\n\nReal Ownership: You'll own the full lifecycle of energy data deployment, influencing data standards, product roadmaps, and client strategy.\n\nVelocity & Support: We move fast and hold high standards, believing in continuous improvement and providing the resources needed to succeed.\n\nGrowth Trajectory: As the energy module scales rapidly, so will this role.
