In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of QA activities for one of the development teams, from designing and executing test cases to actively participating in the development lifecycle and contributing to the automation of our testing processes. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions to our users.\nWhat You Will Do:\nTest Case Management: Develop and meticulously maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.\n\nManual Testing Execution: Execute manual test suites with precision, identifying and documenting defects with clear and concise steps to reproduce.\n\nSupport Ticket Management: Receive and diligently validate incoming support tickets, performing initial sorting and effectively delegating them to the appropriate development or support teams for timely resolution. \n\nDatabase and Message Broker Testing: Conduct in-depth debugging and thorough testing of interactions with databases (MongoDB, Postgres, Clickhouse) and message brokers(Kafka, RabbitMQ) to ensure data integrity and system stability.\n\nDesign and Technical Review Participation: Actively participate in design and technical definition reviews, providing valuable feedback on testability, usability, and potential risks early in the development process.\n\nTest Automation: Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and overall test coverage.\n\nCollaborate effectively with product owners, developers, and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nClearly communicate test results, identified defects, and progress to relevant stakeholders.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.\n\nRequirements\n\n2+ years of demonstrable experience in web QA and test automation.\n\nProven experience working with web-based applications.\n\nHands-on experience with automated software testing tools and methodologies, such as Cypress.\n\nStrong ability to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test procedures, and clearly define expected results.\n\nA solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance processes, including test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.\n\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamenvironment. \n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.\n\nProven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage workload in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects concurrently.\n\nFamiliarity with database systems and message brokers.\n\nExperience with debugging and log analysis.\n\nGood to Have:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n\nExperience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies.\n\nExperience with cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, AWS)\n\nExperience conducting manual performance testing using browser developer tools.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary based on experience \n\nDiscretionary Bonus Program \n\nCareer Development Program\n\nComprehensive Health Insurance Package\n\nDynamic team and challenging projects \n\nFlexible Paid Time Off \n\nWelcoming and friendly work environment \n\nRegular social events and activities\n\nJoin the Team:\nKODE Labs is a real estate technology company founded in 2017 with a mission to change the way people, buildings and systems operate.
